Curriculum
The MBA in Healthcare Management program consists of 10 three-credit courses, totaling 30 credits. There are nine core courses (27 credits), and one elective (three credits). Electives are available in Operations Management or Integrated Healthcare Administration Experience. Our fully online MBA courses are delivered in eight-week blocks. You can complete your degree in as little as 12 months.
For those without an undergraduate business degree, academic leveling courses allow you to complete any pre-requisite courses online, and at your own pace. These courses must be completed, however, as part of your program.

Start Dates
We have five convenient starting dates throughout the year for our MBA in Healthcare Management program to fit your schedule. We want your path to an MBA to be as accessible as possible, so there are opportunities to start your MBA at various points throughout the year.
Students may enter the MBA in Healthcare Management program in fall, spring, or summer sessions. There are two entry dates in both the fall and spring, and one in the summer.
Students will work with an academic advisor who will work with each individual to ensure satisfactory progress is being made while adhering to the degree plan.
Once you are a registered student, you will be given login information to be able to register for classes on your own. In each term, students must register for classes a minimum of one week prior to the scheduled start date of classes. This will insure time for students to obtain required books and materials and for the course instructor to adjust the course's learning activities to the size of the class.
Requirements

If you do not have an undergraduate Business Administration degree, you are eligible to take academic leveling courses, which allows you to complete any pre-requisite course online, and at your own pace.
Following is a checklist of requirements:
- Application for Admission
- Official transcripts from all undergraduate and graduate institutions attended
- Copy of a government-issued photo ID, such as a driver's license or passport
- Signed Payment and Credit Agreement
- Undergraduate coursework must provide equivalents to the Common Professional Component (CPC) requirements recognized by the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP).
- Applicants with an undergraduate degree in business satisfy this requirement.
- For other applicants, the Director of the M.B.A. program will evaluate transcripts to determine if all CPC requirements have been met. Students who do not meet CPC requirements will be enrolled in a 1-credit hour leveling course until all CPC requirements are met.
